Quantum Disk Based Backup Systems
Disk Based Backup Systems are the next step in the evolution of
data protection. The innovative DX-Series disk-based systems emulate
a tape library and seamlessly integrate into existing backup architectures
without any changes to existing processes. High availability features
such as RAID 5 and redundant, hot-swappable components are combined
with blazing disk performance, which allows for more frequent and
reliable backup and restore operations. The DX-Series complements
tape libraries by allowing them to focus on archive operations for
disaster recovery and regulatory compliance. Backup, restore, and
archiving operations can now occur more quickly and more often -
resulting in greater backup confidence and overall data protection.

Provides up to 1TB/hr throughput and scalable to 16TB (raw)
capacity. Ideal for e-mail, mid-size SAN, and small consolidated
backup.
